Read PairNova's trust and verification signals with their limits

A badge can be useful only if you understand what it represents. It becomes misleading when a narrow check is interpreted as a broad promise that someone is honest, compatible or safe to meet.

PairNova records face-verification status and presents contextual trust signals. They are related to the product's safety functions, but they do not answer every question you may have about another person.

Face verification concerns a specific check

The implemented face-verification flow compares a live capture with a saved verification image and includes an active capture process. The recorded result concerns that process. It is not a criminal-background check, an assessment of someone's intentions or a guarantee about future behaviour.

Do not infer that every biographical claim has been independently verified. A face-related status does not establish an occupation, income, relationship history or willingness to respect your boundaries.

Use the official in-app process when verification is required. A match asking you to send identity documents or a private selfie to them personally is not carrying out PairNova's verification.

A failed or missing status needs context

A person may not have completed a check, or a capture may fail for practical reasons. A missing badge alone is not proof of impersonation. Equally, an existing badge should not make you dismiss concerning conduct.

If your own verification fails, read the error and use the official retry or support route. Do not repeatedly send sensitive images through unrelated channels. If the problem concerns your device or the capture flow, provide support with the error text and device details rather than your password or login codes.

This article deliberately does not disclose thresholds or ways of influencing a verification result. The purpose is to explain what the feature means to a user, not how to defeat it.

Trust indicators use limited context

PairNova's trust-signal implementation combines available profile, verification and interaction-related context. Automated observations and moderation-related information can contribute to the displayed state.

The interface may have insufficient information or may show a state that changes as context changes. A label is not a permanent character judgment. It can also be wrong or incomplete.

Do not use a favourable indicator as a reason to send money, share account access or accept a private first meeting. Do not publish an unfavourable indicator as an accusation about a person outside the platform.

Look at the behaviour in front of you

If someone respects a request to meet publicly, that is useful behaviour to observe. If they repeatedly ask for information after you decline, that matters even if a badge looks reassuring.

You can stop a conversation without waiting for the system to display a warning. Automated tools may not see every context, particularly events outside the app. Your boundary does not require agreement from a score.

Reporting adds information; it does not guarantee an outcome

A report helps the platform assess specific conduct. Include relevant messages, profile references and dates through the official route. Avoid speculation about motives or unrelated private details.

If a signal appears inaccurate, contact PairNova support and describe what you see. The platform may need context that is not present in the display. Do not assume an error has been corrected until the relevant state or support response confirms it.

A moderation process is not emergency assistance. For immediate danger, seek local emergency help. For financial loss, contact the relevant payment provider and official reporting channels promptly.

Keep three questions distinct

Ask separately: what information has been checked, what behaviour have I observed, and do I want this connection? A verification result addresses only part of the first question. Trust indicators may provide limited context for the second. Neither decides the third.
