A recommendation compares recorded profile information. It is not a probability of romantic success and does not establish consent. You can decline a high-scoring recommendation or ask about something the score does not explain.

Report conduct, not a disappointing outcome

Threats, harassment, impersonation and suspected fraud deserve a route for assessment. An ordinary decision not to date is different. Use the signed-in reporting action and include relevant facts; blocking can help stop an interaction while a report is considered.

Your information needs a clear purpose

Profile visibility, chat content, account information and verification material have different uses. Review the Privacy Policy and ask support about any handling or retention point that is unclear before submitting sensitive information.

You do not need to send a romantic contact your password, verification code or identity documents. Official account actions happen through official product or support routes.

Leaving the service

Follow the account-deletion instructions to remove an account or request help when you cannot access it. Review any subscription separately; uninstalling an app should not be assumed to cancel billing.

Public guidance and private activity stay separate

The Journal is readable without a dating account. Advertising serving is currently paused. Our source policy excludes private profiles, matching, conversations, verification, payments and interactive tools from advertising inventory.
